About Fairfield Plantation
Nestled among the rolling hills and lush greenery of the Piedmont region of northwest Georgia, Fairfield Plantation is a thriving gated community where many people from all walks of life find their homestead. Fairfield Plantation is a 2,400-acre community, comprised of homes, lots, lakes, a resort, restaurants, golf, and greenspace. Approximately 40 miles of roads make up the Plantation, many of which are lined with sidewalks for the pleasure and safety of the residents and guests.
The largest of the lakes is Lake Tara, at 270 acres, which is primarily used for fishing, boating, skiing, and other watersports. Lake Ashley is a smaller lake of 58 acres, and is primarily used for fishing. In addition Fairfield has a small, 8-acre pond that is enjoyed by wildlife and residents alike.
The Recreation Center includes a swimming pool, playground, miniature golf, tennis courts, recreation room with pool tables and games, and a meeting space for the many groups that convene here, such as Boy and Girl Scouts.
Fairfield Plantation Golf and Country Club boasts 18 holes of golf, a pro shop, a restaurant and bar, tennis courts, and a swimming pool.
The Marina is a great spot for enjoying a lakeside meal, singing karaoke, putting a boat into the water, or even picking up forgotten grocery items.

Fairfield Plantation is located about 45 minutes west of Atlanta. More specifically, it is 40 miles west of Atlanta and 7 miles south of Villa Rica, Georgia. Carrollton, home of the University of West Georgia, is only 10 miles southwest of the Plantation. The drive to the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is only 35 miles.
Nearby attractions include Six Flags over Georgia, the World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, Stone Mountain Park, and all of Atlanta’s other interesting destinations.
